Well hi from England!

There are a few ways to get from London to Paris. There is a train called the Euro star - its nonstop. Some plane flights are less expensive though and you can buy all inclusive packages including transport and hotel which can be a good deal. Look on lastminute.com to get some ideas of cost.

There is a lot to see in London. If you want to spend all 5 days there you will be able to see most of the sites.

Maybe start with a tour bus ride to get an idea of what's where. You can get on and off all day.

Obvious things are Buckingham Palace, Tower of London, Houses of Parliament, St Paul's cathedral, Oxford Street (for shops), Trafalgar Square, Hyde Park etc.

Also good are the museums, the zoo at Regent's Park, night clubs and West End shows but it really depends what you like.

There are all kind of other interesting places in easy reach of London like Brighton on the south coast, Oxford, Cambridge, Stonehenge and Stratford on Avon (Shakespear)

Not sure you'll find anything very cheap because of the poor dollar rate - Paris will be worse still. Travel Lodges tend to be inexpensive and clean and you could share for about $ 100 a night perhaps.

If you have any specific questions please feel free to drop me an email
