Efcollegebreak.com has the best deals for booking a trip to europe. They take care of everything from round- trip airfare, safe clean hotels, transportation between countries in europe and tours. I went last year and it was a little more than $ 1,000 but included all that i mentioned. Plus i saved more money when i used the discount code Vincig7397. Check out the website and go to view trips ..you will see all the different places each trip goes and you can see when they leave and everything. I highly recommend it

I use these sites for hotels in the Netherlands and the rest of Europe, respectively, and have never had any problems: http://www.hotels.nl/ and http://www.venere.com/ .

There are a number of budget airlines still operating here. A couple of good resources are: http://www.skyscanner.net/ and http://www.whichbudget.com/en/

Train travel is often a good way to go. A lot of people use the Eurail passes http://www.eurail.com/ ; however, it is often cheaper to just buy point-to-point tickets directly from the national railroads. This is especially true if you use the faster trains instead of the regional trains because there are additional supplements to pay in addition to the pass cost. There are often discounts available on direct tickets if you purchase far enough in advance. For example, look for the Amica fare on the faster trains here in Italy (at least 1 day in advance of the trip; savings of up to 20%). You can find the national railroad sites by searching for "train" and the name of the country you're interested in. The German train website is good for planning schedules throughout Europe, but you can only book tickets for trains originating or ending in Germany: http://www.bahn.de/international/view/en/index.shtml , http://www.ferroviedellostato.it/cms/v/index.jsp?vgnextoid=3fdbe14114bc9110VgnVCM10000080a3e90aRCRD (Italy), http://www.oebb.at/en/index.jsp (Austria), http://www.ns.nl/cs/Satellite/travellers (Netherlands), http://www.sj.se/sj/jsp/polopoly.jsp?d=10&l=en (Sweden).
